Three Cozy Authors Discuss Murder Over Tea and Cookies with Valerie Burns, Gretchen Archer, and Debra. This mystery author extravaganza will be held at The French Cookie, 125 W. In addition to being the Killer Nashville Friday Lunch Keynote speaker, Debra will teach her “Conflict” workshop and present a special short story workshop with Robert Mangeot. She will also appear on several panels. Check the schedule for times and room locations.
Several Kensington cozy authors, including Debra, will join together for an event sponsored by 2 Dandelions Bookshop (Brighton Michigan) on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 12 – 4 p.m. The event will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Grand River, Brighton, MI 48116.
Debra, Sharon Marchisello, and Kathy Nichols will participate in a “Pacing and Building Suspense” panel moderated by Angela Costa at 2:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Decatur Library.
From December 15 thru December 17, 2023, fifty plus cozy authors will participate in this year’s Cozy Mystery Party Holiday Take-Over Event. There will be giveaways and discussion opportunities. Debra’s time is December 16, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST.
Eleven authors + music = a fun Noir at the Bar night. Embassy Suites Birmingham (Woodcrest Place) - Debra will be teaching a master class in Creating Conflict from 10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m..
Debra will join authors Valerie Burns and Gretchen Archer for a Barnes & Noble Mystery Book Day Signing from 2-4 p.m. on July 28 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Debra and author T.K. Thorne will be presenting a panel at the 2024 Alabama Writers’ Cooperative Annual Conference in Orange Beach, Alabama on Understanding the Art of Mystery Writing – an analysis of the sub-genres of crime fiction and the elements necessary to write compelling novels and short stories. https://alabamawriterscooperative.org/2024-conference
